Project Specialist (Limited Term), Field Projects, The Getty Conservation Institute Requisition: 3140
Conducts research and fieldwork for developing and implementing practical conservation solutions at archaeological, built and urban sites. Works on a number of projects, requiring versatility, creative thinking and sound understanding of physical conservation of buildings and sites. Experience in architectural conservation, design, implementing physical conservation work and site management needed. Graduate degree preferred in architecture, archaeology, urban planning or relevant discipline. Post-graduate qualifications in cultural heritage conservation or equivalent practical conservation experience. 5 years experience preferably in physical conservation of buildings or sites. 3-7 years of project management experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills necessary. Working knowledge of GIS, Photoshop, AutoCAD and InDesign preferred. Must be available for frequent international travel.
